13)
This is basically an introduction into the interview. Explains what company Mario is trying to work for and so on.
14)
Many employers already do drug testing before hiring new employees, and this is fully legal in most countries in the world. DNA testing however, is a less clear issue. There are many cases already of how genetic information can cause persons who are otherwise capable of a job, to be not considered. However, under Australian Law, no organization can attain genetic information without consent from its owner.
15)
This is Mario providing a sample for the Drug and DNA test, It is pretty self explanatory.
16)
The test comes back positive for possible DNA related diseases, and the result is that Mario is unemployable by the company. The results were checked against a large DNA database that the company pays for its use. The database can cross reference DNA sequences, with sequences that suggest a high risk of health related issues. The insurance company who is interviewing Mario finds this risk unacceptable, and does not want to employ Mario for this long term position. The HR Penguin mentions that this is the 5th time in a week that someone has failed the DNA test, an example of how genetic material, and a non-disconcerting IT database could create a flood of false positives.
